Explanation of our Financial Expenses
ElderPet is a 501c3 non-profit organization staffed entirely by volunteers. There are no paid employees.

General: As any organization, we have to pay general administrative and overhead fees which include insurance, registration and training fees for our instructors, office related costs, non-profit filing fees to the State of NH, insurance, and other items. These costs are termed general expenses.

Pet Food: While we receive pet food donations from the community - primarily during the holidays - we must purchase food to supplement what we receive. These are expenses for pet food purchase.

Pet Medication: ElderPet works with low income clients and their veterinarians to provide expensive, long term medications or prescription diets for pets. These are pet medication expenses.

Veterinary Care Loans: ElderPet has established a no-interest loan fund for low-income clients with unexpected veterinary care expenses. These expense are for Veterinary Care Loans.
